The Chalet was just as described, very comfortable, clean and private. The owner iis very friendly and helpful, he picked us up on arrival and again for our departure. There was no charge for cleaning or linen and he did not ask for any security deposit. We had a really lovely holiday with no complaints.

Nice to be picked up by the owner on our arrival at the station and taken back there on our departure. 

Cooking facilities need to be improved. No sharp knives were provided.


Only one set of towels were provided for a 7 day stay, only 1 tea towel.  

Room (and bed) very comfortable and quiet; felt like we were completely alone. Owner was very gracious; picked us up from train station and dropped us off at the end of our stay. 

We have no complaints.  

The owner was great! Picked us up at the train station and took us back at 7am on our departure. It was a great little cottage set in an orange and lemon grove in a many gated secured property. Woke to a rooster crowing but was an easy walk to the centre of town. Close to large supermarket and restaurants. Great patio. Would stay there again. 

Just little things. Pillows on bed were so thin (but there were extra thick wool blankets that we used to thicken them). Kitchen was great for coffee in the morning but too small for any real cooking.  

The place is very convenient, in a charming lemon orchard, very quiet and very well equipped. 

The parking is somewhat problematic.  

We liked Chalet Paradiso very much. It´s situated in a beautiful place (there is a nice garden around) but close to the center. It´s also very well equiped. Ambrogio, the landlord was very kind to us and we can recommend it to everybody. 

Chalet Paradiso was an excellent stay, centrally located yet quiet, had all the kitchen and bath comforts and had a lovely host, Ambrogio, who was kind and helpful. The chalet is close to everything- the shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants, even the bus and train station. 

Everything was excellent except a minor thing- the TV has only 2 English channels (and both are news). More channels should be added, or a DVD player with movies in English.  

The chalet was perfect! Ambrogio D'Esposito came to the station and brought us to the chalet. He also came at the end and brought us back. The chalet was in a great location and very peaceful. And, the basket of lemons and oranges left for us were wonderful! 

Nothing, everything was perfect.  

Chalet Paradiso is an excellent base to stay in Sorrento. It is in the heart of the town, yet a quiet, peaceful place to rest after a busy day exploring the stunning Amalfi coast. The host is very helpful and gave some brilliant restaurant recommendations. The chalet was very clean and exceeded our expectations in every way.
